Innovation spotlights

United through resilience

We provide tools to support and build resilience.

Optum Serve created United Through Resilience to support well-being where life demands may lead to stress, anxiety and health risks. This easy-to-implement, evidence-based approach includes a 1-800 line, a smart phone app and peer-to-peer access.

Indiana SUD Workforce Capacity Assessment and Planning Grant

We supported Indiana in identifying opportunities to increase SUD capacity and ensure equitable access to treatment services.

Optum Serve Consulting supported Indiana in developing an action plan for increasing SUD provider capacity. We collected and analyzed SUD provider data, conducted a provider survey and led provider and member focus groups.

Evidence-based clinical practice guidelines

We develop and update evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

Since 2012, Optum Serve Consulting has worked with the VA and DoD to develop and update evidence-based clinical practice guidelines across a range of conditions, including: depression, substance use disorders, suicide prevention and schizophrenia. For each of these guidelines, Optum Serve Consulting facilitates expert panels comprised of clinicians, researchers and other health professionals.
