To refer a patient for infusion therapy:
Home infusion therapy allows patients to receive eligible infusion medications in the comfort of their home. A home infusion nurse administers treatment and provides education, monitoring and ongoing support throughout therapy.
Eligibility for home infusion care depends on the prescribed medication, a patient's condition, insurance coverage and whether treatment can be safely administered at home. Your care team will help determine the best setting for treatment.
Coverage varies based on your Medicare plan and prescribed therapy. Our team can help verify your Medicare benefits, explain coverage options and guide you through the approval process.
Many infusion therapies can be safely administered at home under the supervision of trained infusion nurses. Depending on your treatment plan, home infusion services may include immunoglobulin therapy, anti-infective therapies, parenteral nutrition, biologic therapies and other specialty infusion treatments.
