  • Finding available financial assistance programs
  • Seeing if you qualify
  • Connecting you directly to program staff
  • Helping you fill out paperwork

Call us at 1-855-427-4682 to get started with a patient care coordinator or log in.

I am so thankful for what the Financial Assistance Team does, not only for myself but for all the other patients that Optum Specialty Pharmacy is able to help with their medication costs. I know how much this medication costs and can’t imagine how I would be able to afford it without assistance.

Financial assistance for medications FAQ

Copay cards cannot be used at the same time as a government insurance plan such as:

  • Medicare
  • VA
  • TRICARE
  • Select Federal Employee Plans

To find out if you qualify for financial assistance through Optum Savings IQ, a patient care coordinator may ask you for the following information:

  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Diagnosis
  • Proof of household income
  • Number of dependents
  • Social Security number

Speak to a patient care coordinator. If you qualify, they will connect you with available programs to get started. You can also use the Optum Savings IQ program in our patient portal to see available assistance options.

We’ll contact you once your information has been reviewed to talk about what happens next. You may work directly with the foundation or assistance program on next steps.
